Standards Australia’s [Australian Design Awards] is recognised by the Commonwealth Government and the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design [ICSID] as the peak promotional body for the Australian design industry, and for its important role in fostering a broad based culture of design and innovation in Australia.

In a presentation night filled with candidates Australia wide, the SAS Harness became a finalist along with other extraordinary design masterpeices to compete for the Australian Design Award. The SAS Harness was awarded with an illustrious Australian DesignMark.

The Australian DesignMark is the independent symbol of good product design.
It represents that this products has been assessed by an independent panel of industry and design professionals who recommend that Standards Australia recognise it as an example of good Australian design.

The Australian Design Awards is Australia’s only national product design awards program and operates in the national interest by means of a not-for-profit business model. Its mandate is to recognise and reward excellence in Australian design and innovation. Click here to view the 2006 finalists.
