WHAT IS COCA AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
COCA is an acronym for Chiropractic & Osteopathic College of Australasia and we were founded in 1959. The College is not a political organisation and not affiliated with any professional political arm within the health professions.

COCA is an organisation providing quality continuing education to chiropractors, osteopaths and other allied related health professionals. COCA exists to provide health professionals with necessary ongoing and contemporary skills to practice competently, thereby improving the public health of the community.

COCA provides a forum to foster research and promote knowledge of disorders of the musculo-skeletal system and related aspects of health care. COCA actively participates in activities related to public health. [Note: It is these COCA mission endeavours that served as the catalyst to endorse the Spinal Articulation System].

HOW DOES A PRODUCT QUALIFY FOR THE ENDORSEMENT?
COCA applies the following criteria and requirements of any product or service, before endorsement proceeds:
- Is the product or service in the public interest, or of benefit to the community
- Is the product or service of significance to the health of consumers
- Is the company seeking COCA endorsement in good standing in the conduct of their affairs
Only after the above initial criteria are met, does product or service endorsement evaluation proceeds.
