The SAS Academic harness
(1) exo-frame
acts as a guide for the spine of the user. The light, durable internal alloy frame maintains the correct spinal curvature and articulates the users posture.
(2) airmesh padding provides added comfort for shoulders, hips and back, allowing body contact points to "breathe".
(3) ladder adjustment allows the user to tailor fit the pack.
(4) harness adjuster
allows for a finer harness adjustment.
(5) padded hip belt
the generous hip-belt transfers weight onto the users hips instead of shoulders and spine.
(6) adjustment buckles equipped with alternative (male & female) attachment buckles for the shoulder strap.

(7) sternum strap
stops the pack moving in a lateral motion, thus stabilising the load.
